Welcome to Our Life

My family and I live on a small "hobby farm" in Northern California. We have goats, chickens, dogs, cats and a pig. We are by no means homesteaders yet, but we grow many of our own vegetables and eat fresh eggs and meat from our chickens.
My goal is to create a simplified life. This blog is my family's journey....

Steps I'm taking towards simple living

1- Being grateful for what I already have.
2- Getting organized and creating a plan to stay that way.

3 dogs
1 cat
5 hens
5 goats (3 wethers and 2 does)
3 sheep (1 ewe and 2 lambs)
2 rabbits
lots of fish

It should be interesting to see how this lists changes over time!
