My family and I live on a small "hobby farm" in Northern California. We have goats, chickens, dogs, cats and a pig. We are by no means homesteaders yet, but we grow many of our own vegetables and eat fresh eggs and meat from our chickens.
My goal is to create a simplified life. This blog is my family's journey....
1- Being grateful for what I already have. 2- Getting organized and creating a plan to stay that way. 3- Learning how to grow fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers 4- Finding quiet time each day to pray, plan, and reflect.

Christmas Blessings
It is early Christmas morning and I am so excited to spend the day with my family in Chico. We had 2 Christmas blessings- our lambs were born on 12/23 and they are in perfect health. We named them Holly and Ruby because of their red wool.
